Line Replaceable Units

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is developing Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) to support live training for our military customers. These LRUs are capable of interfacing electrically via MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429 and Ethernet for host platform data sharing. Our goal is to support Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™) interoperability. The FACE compliant LRUs are designed to standardize approaches to bring open standards solutions to avionics systems that will ultimately result in lower implementation costs for our military customers. Using the modular open standard architecture (MOSA), Open Architecture (OA) and Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), PLI also supports a robust architecture for enabling software development. The open standard will enable interoperability between systems and components as well as interface reuse.

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is also capable of testing and manufacturing LRUs to exacting standards. We are well versed in MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704 testing requirements for airborne applications and our team is AS9100D certified for design and manufacturing of airborne systems.
