For our customers AS 9100 and ISO 9001 certification is a given. We take it one step further. We believe that ISO 9001 and AS 9100 aren’t just ‘quality’ standards, but rather the foundation for a way of doing business that produces continuous improvement and guarantees our customers receive the highest quality product at the best possible price. Our commitment to quality is reflected in honors like being a Northrop Grumman Platinum supplier and being a ship-to-stock supplier for the Boeing AH-64 and C-17 production lines.

Quality in our Product

Product validation steps are integrated within every production process. This allows us to instill ownership of quality in each and every associate. Product validation results are captured and monitored electronically in our ERP/MRP System, Plex. The system’s SPC tools allow us to measure, control, and improve our product on a continuous basis. Product and material traceability is captured electronically in real-time allowing us to determine the who, what, and when of any product, material, or process with ease, at any given time, and from any computer with internet access. We also use this electronic system to control and monitor our Age Sensitive Materials.

Quality in our Processes

All of our processes are built with Quality in mind. Phoenix Logistics has established 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve all of our products and processes. We strive to provide clear and easily accessible instructions for all functions and to all associates in order to eliminate Tribal Knowledge and what we call the “Hidden Factory.” We measure the effectiveness of our processes through our Internal Audit Process. Our Internal Auditing Schedule includes 5S audits and Product Conformance to Specification Audits. Furthermore, we have established Integrated Product Teams to evaluate, validate, and carry out product and process improvements on a product type basis with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and quality.

At Phoenix Logistics we believe that Quality is everyone’s responsibility. We empower our associates to take quality ownership in everything they do. To strengthen this belief, we continuously provide our associates with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and career development training. We also provide Foreign Object Damage (FOD) training and awareness on a continuous basis to all of our associates. Phoenix Logistics strives to continuously improve and strengthen its associates’ skills set. In order to accomplish this, we have developed unique relationships with training professionals like Arizona MEP and Blackfox Training Institue.

BlackFox IPC Training Institute
Phoenix Logistics and Blackfox Training Institute, an Approved IPC Certification Center, have formed a unique association to create a permanent onsite IPC training and certification center at Phoenix Logistics' Tempe, Arizona facility. Blackfox is one of the few training centers in the world to offer training in all five IPC standards as well as:

ESD

Having a Blackfox training center in-house allows Phoenix Logistics to provide continual training to the highest standards for all of our production associates, ensuring that our production associates are some of the most highly qualified in the industry. Arizona MEP

Phoenix Logistics is rigorous in its supplier selection process. We strive to build long-term relationships with our suppliers on the foundations of trust, ethics, and the ability to meet our customers' requirements. Phoenix Logistics shows preference to Quality focused suppliers with ISO9001 and AS9100 certifications as well as minority and woman-owned business enterprises.

Phoenix Logistics has established a Supplier Portal where its supplier base can directly access the company’s ERP/MRP System, Plex, for accurate and real-time information. Through the Supplier Portal our suppliers have:
